Our SEO package begins with research.  We research what keywords you should be targeting, how many searches each keyword or search phrase receives from the various engines and how much competition there is for those keywords.

SEO Package Part 2:  On-Site Search Engine Optimization

The second component of our SEO package is on-site search engine optimization.  On-site SEO is a process that utilizes a variety of techniques designed to improve your website's ranking position based on content.  These techniques include the keywords you use, where you use them, how they look on your pages, how often you use them (keyword density), your page names and titles,  as well as how you name, place and label images and objects on your website.  They also include optimizing your website's underlying code and structure to make it search engine friendly. 

 

SEO Package Part 3: Off-Site Search Engine Optimization

This is the largest component of our SEO package.  Typically we'll spend 35 hours doing off-site SEO for our clients as part of our SEO package.  Off-site SEO is all about who is linking to you, how they are linking to you and making sure the search engines know you exist. 

When other sites link to you, search engines consider that a vote of confidence saying that you are an authority regarding the subject they are linking to.  A link is like a vote.  The more votes you have, the greater authority you are on that subject.

However, it's not just about the number of votes.  It's about the quality of voter.  A link from a high ranking, high traffic website is significantly more valuable than a link from a small, less visited website.  Also, one way links (where they link to you) are more valuable then two way links (where they link to you and you link to them).
